Happy Birthday Garland

Paper garland can provide the perfect pop of color to punctuate any celebration’s décor. This garland, designed and letterpress printed in Hatch Show's print shop in downtown Nashville, can adorn the porch, the backyard fence, the mantel or any wall or doorway that’s feeling a little bare. Is there any happier typeface than Cooper Black? It is the happiest type, and while they have it as small as your fingernail in metal type, they used one of their fonts of wood type to make this bold and bright birthday banner. Fun graphic elements officially call dingbats were also printed on additional pieces to make up twelve feet of garland, and there’s a subtle background of checkerboard, circles, rectangles and more atop the day-glow paper.
